# Timbuk2 designs
### This is a page to discuss how the timbuk2 ui should look.
## Landing Page: Page 1
Below is the current landing which is pretty dull and inspired by placer.ai. The goal of the redesign is to make this more appealing and usable while informing our users of what we do and how they can access it.

1. **Solutions Dropdowns** : Our solutions are similar to that of near.com in the sense that we offer all the ones listed here. Each solution should be clickable and lead to a unique page. The gym page should lead to https://medium.com/@juliansteam/e3188364c3eb while the real estate page lead to for example https://medium.com/@juliansteam/revolutionising-real-estate-portfolio-management-with-timbuk2-ai-a141c1f7c508.
Products is dropdowns as well. Platform leads to a page describing the platform. https://medium.com/@juliansteam/how-the-timbuk2-location-intelligence-platform-can-meet-your-business-needs-be926706379
2. **Products**
* **API Pag e**
3. **GoTo Map** - This is a call to action to explore the tool and should be a lot more enticing. People should know that they are going to the product , it should make them want to press this. This should be one of the most inviting features of the page. Make it more appealing.
4. **Schedule Demo** - This should entice the user as well ; this is how we generate sales and should be as appealing as go to map button. Maybe its positioned somewhere different but must be where user is most likely to click.
5. **Page Background**-

a.**I like the simplicity of a Placer.ai.** Their home page is so clean and to the point. I love this! We attempted that but our implementation fell short and is a bit dull and non inviting. The clean simple background is brilliantly implemented and this flows for the rest of their site as you scroll. I love the flat design which is still appealing. I want us to do a better version of this keeping to the simple clean design.
b. ***Carto.com's landing page*** is great because of the map with protruding "digital buildings" that speak to digitising the landscape. This should be the core inspiration while following simple UI principles and flat design.
c. The below is from our video and is a great example of the design I like but with less colours.
d.**Protruding buildings** should be larger than the rest with few highlighted like the below
**Final design thoughts**:

**The design should look something similar to the below:**
A. The light purple fading gradient with light building siluoettes and graphs in the background.
B. All the colours on the actual maps should be aligned with the purple gradient theme, grey, white so no green trees or blue water bodies.
C. Protruding buildings should be larger than the rest with few highlighted like the below
The design should look something similar to the below:
Only a few 3D buildings are protruding out of the page here and the rest of the map is 2D.D. The data bubble must show the number of visits; a graph etc.
D. Protruding buildings should be larger than the rest with few highlighted like the below
6. The **Login** needs to be the way that organisations login to their customised view. This view will lead them to the sign up page and they will have the option to select their organisation there which will speak to which view they will see once logged in.
7. **The Header and sub-header: **
The header should be " Any Place, Infinite insights - The worlds location insights at Your Fingertips" . Go to Map should be changed to Explore Platform
8. **Explainer Video** - We can embed this into page 2 : The idea is that it should be one of the first demonstrators of what the site does & thus must appear at the forefront.
# Page 2 - what is the solution
This is where we will have our video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=326DV5ilVQo
The idea is to embed it like sitezeus does theirs. Initially it doest have to be a slider but the sliders can speak to the different offerings we have. The initial view must show a dynamic video as well or gif on the site showing capability. The offering from the content can be similar.
I like the style of slanted screen below as well:

# Page 3- who our solutions serve :
Each of these below should take the user to a specific solution page as per the above where for instance the page for retail would take a person to a link.
Phase one - these are just static like below.
Phase 2: More dynamic with animations and the like.
