# Suggestions for Thirdweb Community Hello, this is the complete list of suggestions for improvements and enhancements for the `thirdweb` community. These are only my suggestions so for any questions and feedbacks just let me know. I'll do my best to help and support the `thirdweb` community in best, reliable, and efficient way. ## Ticket Bot The first in my list would be a reliable ticketing bot for private customer support on Discord. It will help us to effectively manage the customers by automating the creation of Discord channels to act like a support ticket. With the help of ticket bot we can assign specific persons or teams to specific issues. No more pinging and back reading on the channels! **_How about troubleshooting channel?_** -> We can still use this as our public forum or discussions for support and if the issues requires further support we can use the ticket bot to create and assign a ticket for our customer. **_Benefits of ticket bot?_** -> Well, my take on this would be no more back reading to the channels which is sometimes takes time to look around and find who else need a support. An organized ticket style channel is the best move we can do to lessen our work when it comes to support our customers. ### Candidate for Ticket Bot As per researching, we have two candidates for the ticket bot. Why 2? There are no other bots for ticketing besides them. - **[TicketTool](https://tickettool.xyz/)** - Popular ticketing Discord bot. - **[Tickets](https://ticketsbot.net/)** - Modern and more customizable ticketing Discord bot. **Difference?** -> Tickets offers more customization with shareable link for transcript. Plus, you can ask a feedback from customer which TicketTool doesn't offer. ## Faucet Bot A faucet bot will be a good addition to the community as it makes our developers' life easier so that they will not ask us everytime they need test currencies. 😉 ### Update Currently this project is in progress. I supposed to finish this bot this week. I'll update the team once it is ready for public use. ## Discord Server Stats I would recommend display at least a stats on how many members we have in the community. 😅 https://serverstatsbot.com/ We can use that to easily see the traction on our Discord community. I would recommend use the voice type channel for the members stats so it will show as lock for other users. ## Additional Roles for Music Artist Somone recommend to add a role for Music industry. I just wanna remind this one, I don't know if Artist role is specific for designs or creativity or both with music? Idk. ## Feature Request Website The `feature request` channel is useful but we can't tracked requests. Sometimes some folks there having a conversation in that channel. I guess it is more helpful to have dedicated request website. Don't worry I did a research for this when I part of start-up cohort in my country. 😉 ### Canny We can use like https://canny.io/ for our feature requests, these are the examples of using this. https://building.buymeacoffee.com https://building.bio.link ### Frill I personally love this one... https://frill.co it is freemium software for tracking customer requests. It has less to offer but might want to consider it too. https://feedback.kampsite.co/ ## Local Channels Someone suggested for localized channel. I don't know if it is applicable to us. But I saw many NFT/Web3 related servers has localized channels. The suggested channel was for Chinese. Downside of having this, we'll need to look for someone who can speak for these localized languages as part of moderation. Personally, we don't need this at the moment. 😉 ## GitHub Updates It might look spam for our Discord right? For me setup it correctly to receive only issues or any updates to the GitHub SDKs repos. I use this on my other servers to track any updates on my open source projects and also creating an awareness to my developer community. ## Showcase Channel We should have it! This is to let them share their work on our Discord community and we might pick one to be featured on our social media channels. ## Off Topic Channel Sometimes I have personal conversation with the community or outside thirdweb. I have to build a relation with our community 😅 but to be able to do that we need to create a `hangouts` channel or `offtopic` channel. ## Community Content Channel This is a dedicated channel for community related content this where blogs, tutorials, and anything to post. 😉 We might use this pick as featured content and post it on our social media accounts. ## Challenge with Rewards Host or create a challenge for thirdweb community and give award if they pass the challenge. Few effective examples... ### Ranking based on Activeness Ranking on Discord! I'm thinking of they will get specific or rare NFTs if they reached certain ranking on our community. After they add this on their Discord server, the members become active like crazy! So we have something to give to them to be able to make them active and talk about thirdweb. ### Ambassador Role I'm thinking of a way to get more invites to the Discord server. This would be asking them to invite at least 3 or 5 each to get the ambassador role plus NFT? I don't know what you think about this but having invite-based challenge will keep them active too and plus the server will grow. It is similar to GM channel but for counting, having a counting channel is a bit challenging because sometimes the counting might break by someone who doesn't follow the pattern (which is annoying).
