To the Joint Secretary, Department of Space,

We are grateful to the Department of Space for publishing draft "Space-based Remote Sensing Policy of India (SpaceRS Policy 2020)" and draft "Norms, Guidelines and Procedures for implementation of SpaceRS Policy 2020 (SpaceRS NGP 2020)" and for providing sufficient time for comments to be submitted.

This submission presents comments and recommendations by the DataMeet community on the proposed draft of "Space-based Remote Sensing Policy of India (SpaceRS Policy 2020)" and draft "Norms, Guidelines and Procedures for implementation of SpaceRS Policy 2020 (SpaceRS NGP 2020)". This submission is based on draft version published by the Department of Space on November 20, 2020.
