This video is to demonstrate the new systems developed for LonDEC. In this video we will demonstrate how users will use the booking process, showcase the backend for an Admin user and explore the My account section.
Let's start with the booking process for a new user. First, the user would select the course they wish to book onto.
Once they have selected their desired course, they can see the relevant information about the course as well as being able to select one of the available dates for the course.
The checkout will last for 1 hour, if the form is not completed in that time the place is released back for sale. This stops potential overbookings from occuring.
[show completion of billing user information]
A billing user is then able to copy details to the attendee form.
[show copy function]
Once they have completed the relevant details, they will be directed to make their payment via WPM.

Now let's tke a look at the backend for an Admin user. The admins will have access to the courses and the registrations and transactions for each course and also add, edit and remove any venues.
Registrations will give an overview of all registrations made for any given course. It can be filtered by the month, by category and by status.
It will show the delegate, the date of the transaction, the course, and the date selected as well as the price and what has been paid.
Looking at the transaction we can see the status of the transaction, the transaction items and the payment details. As well as the list of delegates that were registered in the transaction.
We can mark the delegates as attended via the check-in status. Once a delegate is marked as checked in, it will send them the course feedback survey via email.
--
The my account section will detail the users courses that they have booked on, and if they are a billing user will show them the status of the delegates, what course they are booked on, whether they have attended, and allow them to edit their profile and change their password.
Editing the user profile is simple. These fields will be populated from the user's account details, this is something we are still working on. The user can also update their password via the edit my password form.
When a user has been marked as attended, they will receive an email with a link to complete the survey for that course.
