# Innovating Media: Top Shots (Alexis)
### Shot 1

I really like this shot because of the energy + activity of the spinning globe! It's not an overwhelming amount of motion that it becomes distracting, but it still definitely livens the shot. I also appreciate how the use of a globe visually connects to what Christine is saying and can be used for any sort of globally-related conversation. Relevant and versatile! 😎 Also seems like a pretty simple set-up.
### Shot 2

Is it bad I picked my own shot? LOL
I appreciate this shot sort of for the same reasons as the previous one -- I like that there's some sort of active motion in it generated by the magnifying glass, and how the use of this object can be course relevant/relate to what the speaker is saying (? is it? I'm just guessing it can be!). Could also be interpretted as "taking a close look" and not necessarily science related. It's not distracting and can also be easily set up! The background items are totally interchangeable as well. Phone could be laid down on a book/textbook for the course? Maybe photographs for a photography class? Or it doesn't even have to be paper/flat media!
### Shot 3

I like this shot because of how explicitly academic it can be, and it can easily shift to match the content of the speaker. The actual reading materials for the class could easily make up the book stack, and I think that's a really intentional but nuanced way to present the course! While I think the shot stands great as just a still, if there were to be added motion to it, it might be cool if someone was either placing the books onto the stack or picking them up.
