# DFK WiKi Design Brief ## General Brief and Goal "DFK WiKi" is a community led wiki for DeFi Kingdoms. https://defikingdoms.com/ is one of the greatest Fantasy RPG games built on top of a blockchain and it has been gathering momentum and community support over the past few months of its existence. The main goal of the wiki is to help new users easily onramp and onboard into the game. As the game is very complicated and deep, we aim towards making the first steps of a new user as frictionless as possible in terms of decision making. The secondary goal is to inform the existing userbase by collecting all available resources of the game into one place. And ultimately have it as a community maintained repository of knowledge (a wiki). ## Style and Attitude The domain name of the website will be https://degenheroes.gg "Degen Heroes" is the name of our guild, that is taking the initiative to build the wiki. We already have some branding assets, that will be included along with this brief. We would like the wiki to step on and expand on those branding assets. Since this is a gaming related website and audience, we'd like the style and attitude to follow suit. The entire game has an 80s, pixel art aesthetic (relevant screenshots in the attached package). We'd like to draw inspiration from the style used in the defikingdoms.com website and use pixel art where applicable for components and graphics of the website. ## Scope of Design The following sitemap has been decided: * Frontpage * Designed last, should have direct links to the most popular pages (new users, resources, we'll decide when close to implementation). * New Users Guide * Default Guide * Questing Heroes * Hero Leveling up * Buying Heroes * Summoning Heroes * Resources * Resource Categories * Tavern Alternatives * Portfolio Trackers * Leaderboards * Analytics / Metrics * Premium Services * Education / Analysis * Guilds * Youtube channels * Resource Card (each resource should have:) * Name * Screenshot * Description (1-2 sentences) * Tags (the "resource categories") * About * A page to display information about our guild. In addition to the above, we'd like to have "template pages", which will help us expand the website in the future based on new content and requirements. So we would really appreciate if you could produce a few generic templates of: * 1, 2, 3 and 4 column layouts * A table layout * An input form layout (with all the basic input form elements, checkboxes, selects, inputs, textarea). * Framing images and a lightbox (popup with an image in full view). * Do let us know if you feel like another template should be included. ## Deliverables * Establish a baseline style guide on the Degen Heroes branding. Systematize the logotype, mark, font types, positioning and colour pallette. (start with this before proceeding to any web design). * We would prefer if the design happened on a modern, web design tool like figma. * All branding and graphics produced, should also be delivered seperately in a web-optimised format that makes sense (transparent png or SVG). ## What you need to submit now To respond to this job, we need the following from you, please read carefully: - Your best webdesign work (up to 3) along with a note of what part and involvement you had in the project (and location of where to find that work, a url, a zipfile, etc). - If you have any design related social profiles (i.e. dribbble, behance, etc). - Your general availability. - Your current location (city, country). - Your hourly rate in USD. We are not looking for a fixed price as we want to retain the flexibility to expand or retract the scope as we better understand what needs to be done.
