# The Netherlands

## Layman's term
- **Studielink**: an official and universial portal for programs at Dutch higher institutions.
- **Numerus fixus**: for some study programmes the education institution has set a certain capacity. This means that a limited number of places is available.

## Choices
- Max 4 in Studielink.
- Numerus fixus: medicine, psychology, artificial intelligence, international business administration, international relations and physiotherapy, computer science. Max 2 programs. Medicine, Dentistry, Dental hygiene and Physiotherapy only 1.

## Deadline
- Jan 15 for numerus fixus. Selection into competitive programs may occur between Jan 15 and April 15.
- Nay 01 for others.

## Offer
- Offer has to be accepted in 2 weeks or else it will be transferred automatically.
