This blood emits a light which will change color based on the ethereal's color. The light will also become dimmer when they are in poorer health, slowly turning grey as they are hurt. Ethereals live off of the electricity in their blood, which they need to keep charged by feeding off of electricity by eating electrically charged food or absorbing power from machinery. Ethereal voices are like theremins, they use their electrical discharge to communicate with each other, creating harmonious noises in the process. ### Castes Ethereals are also inherently born into castes. Being able to perform a specific task in Ethereal society which they are specialized in. These are player chosen in preferences and are divided in the following: #### Path of Culture This ethereal caste focuses on the mental needs of their kin, being able to use their theremin like sounds to soothe people around them, at the cost of some of their electrical charge #### Path of Nurture This ethereal caste focuses on the health of those around them, being able to use their electrical powers as defibs at the cost of most of their energy charge. #### Path of Progress This ethereal caste focuses on the infrastructure of the ethereal society. Using their electrical talents to re-charge power cells, at the cost of their own charge. ### Health Lastly, ethereals also have the ability to re-incarnate. If an Ethereal dies, whether it is due to natural or unnatural causes. They will crystalize their remains after some time and remain in statis until they recover. However, in this state they are very vulnerable, and if the crystal is destroyed when this happens they will not be able to do it again. However, the revival comes at a cost, the Ethereal with gain a lasting trauma they cannot remove, a scar of sorts.
