# Tellor Bounties Program
## What this is
The Tellor Bounties program is a way to reward developers who help us build out Tellor. Although the core team handles the bulk of development it is important for us cultivate an open-source community of contributors helping to build out the network's needs.
## What this is not
The funds allocated for the bounty program are not intended for contractors or teams.
The rewards should be seen as just bonuses for helping to build out Tellor, not nessecarily a salary or a fair market value for the work.
It's also not some anonymous thing. If you want the reward, you have to be in communication with us during the process.
