# Presentation ## Introduction - Ruben Hello everyone we are team Bubblebutt from Code with Corgis. Today we would like to present to you our app. In tribute to our class mates we made a game using pictures of your pets. The game we created is a clone of the board game "Codenames"! Why would we make this app you ask? ## Motivation Well after throwing out a bunch of ideas one of our team mates suggested Codenames. we spent 20 min playing the game and all decided to take this on as our project as it seemed quite challenging. ## User Story As a user I want to start a game with friends and play Code names together. ## Technologies used. - Ricky - React JS - Socket.io - Bootstrap - JWT - GraphQL - Bcrypt - Animate.css - private route - MUI ## Task Division When linking front end with back end we would come back to a room and split up into groups of 2 or 3 to finish a feature ## Challenges - Alex - Git Problems, merge conflicts, and things not working how we expected - MongoDB on Heroku - Implimenting socket.io ## Successes - using GraphQL - Log in was easy with JWT - Fun to work with react for this project, and we didn't really run into issues with it ## DEMO - Ryan ## Future developement - Brian - Make independant games for more users to play at the same time. - Show user name when it's there turn. - Envite users to a game by email instead of code. - Allow users to select from a set of themes for the game play. - Upgrade card flipping to look and feel more like cards. ## Questions. - Joon
