# TEA-DT Workshops (June 18-20th)

This document presents the outline for the second set of stakeholder engagement workshops, organised for the TEA-DT project, and focusing on the participatory design of assurance cases.

## Session Information

### Presentation 1 (Guest Speaker)

We will invite a guest speaker for each of the three groups to discuss a topic that is relevant to the domain or goal to be assured.

### Presentation 2 (TEA Platform Refresher)

To ensure everyone remembers the core elements of an assurance case, and how the TEA platform works, we will provide a short refresher before moving into breakout groups.

### Breakout Group Activity 1 (Identifying Strategies and Claims)

🏆 **Competition & Prize Details**

A prize will be given to the best assurance case, as voted for by the workshop participants.

After the workshops, we will ask all teams to share their cases with the rest of the workshop participants, and everyone will vote on the best case for each theme.

NB: you will not be able to vote for your own.

**3 x £200 worth of National Book Tokens** will be available for the best assurance case from each of our three categories.

In addition, the winning team will be invited to present their project and case at our final event on July 16th.

In the first group activity, the participants will split into their own project teams and work on developing an assurance case for their own project, based on a draft argument pattern produced by the TEA-DT project team (e.g. explainability, usability, safety).

The facilitators will provide support to structure this process.

The activity will be introduced at the start of this session.

A quick check-in will occur at 15-20 minutes to ensure everyone understands the activity.

### Group Discussion (Co-Designing Assurance Cases)

Once the initial set of strategies and property claims have been identified, each group will have an opportunity to share their adapted case with the rest of the group.

The purpose of this session will be to support one another in developing sound arguments and sharing best practices.

### Breakout Group Activity 2 (Reviewing Assurance Cases)

Following the group discussion, we will once again split up into groups to carry on developing the assurance cases based on the feedback received. Again, the project team will help facilitate these group sessions.
