Nov 8, 2023Lack of Institutional Review Boards. Even some Universities do not have IRBs to whom Psychology researchers can submit their protocols for review. The awareness regarding Ethical Review among students is also low In low developed countries this is the issue. No IRB make the international collaborations are We(ASCENT) could get some academics from India to volunteer as members of the review body as well. Lack of enough awareness regarding plagiarism and potentially predatory journals/publishing Lack of awareness on best practices such as preregistration, sharing of data, and preprints
