# Dev Update Week 3

- **Consensus Spec**: I explored the Mev-Boost specs that implements the latest versions of the Ethereum Builder specs. This involved reviewing the existing Builder API interface for consensus layer clients to source blocks built by external entities and considering how this can be enshrined.

- **Mev-Boost**: I examined the current implementation of Mev-Boost as an auxillary component for the Ethereum protocol.

- **Relays**: Investigated the role and implementation of Relays as the doubly-trusted data-availability layer and communication interface between builders and validators. Evaluated why and how these relays can be bypassed while enshrining PBS on the protocol.

- Participated in the EPF office hours talk where we had a great and insightful talk with Agnish and Advaita, core developers from Nimbus and former EPF fellows.

- *Project Proposal*: Began working on my project proposal.
