# Headset review 2021 ## MAIRDI Communication Headset - usb wired - single ear - boom mic Amazon: $39.99 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RBJS83X ![](https://i.imgur.com/SWGPxZF.png =100x) --- **Review:** Volume controls work independent of the application being used Even if app is unmuted you are muted. Mic end needs to be twisted so mic opening on boom does not sound far way. The boom itself can spin nearly 360 degrees and the arm is bendable. This allows you to move it closer or further away from your face. Mute from external controls works. no one hears you Comfort: The headset is light weight — feels lighter than the Mpow. It is not expandable like the Mpow. The band is flexible and should fit medium to large heads. The ear cusion is soft and squishy with little to no firmness. Clip for attaching to your shift if it moves around. **Cons:** People on the other end hear some background “whining” noise unless the mic is muted. The side w/o a headphone can catch in hair. Blinking blue light is annoying on controls. It is always blinking if you are running an application which is connected to the headset for its microphone input. ## Mpow HC3 Single on ear bluetooth - Wireless: bluetooth - Single ear - Dual microphone - micro usb charging port Amazon: $27.99 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085DLKNGY ![](https://i.imgur.com/gf0thkL.png =100x) --- **Review:** No buzzing sound for other party when not talking, but unmuted. Clear audio from mic. Worked from 15ft away through a kitchen wall Comfort: The headset is light weight and the the size is adjustable / expands. The ear soft with a bit of firmness.
