# DoBA EAB Ruling #001
##### The EAB will handle appeals for decisions made by the OAR, and LAD. They additionally handle appeals of disiplinary action issued by businesses.
Citizens,
I am the President and Director of the Department of Business Affairs. It is my responsibility to inform you of the decision, which I support, that the Employement Appeals Board has made. DarkAstraeus filed an appeal after his position was removed due to a reform, and he continded this was not allowed. Below is the official statement of my office;
> While the action taken against the appealant seems to be retalitory in nature, it does not rise to the level of disiplinary action to overturn on appeal. I agree with the decision rendered by the Employment Appeals Board.
The Employment Appeals Board ruled the follow;
```
We, the appointed individuals to the Employee Appeals Board, have decided on the following case outcome:
1. The removal of DarkAstraeus from Johnny’s Subs will not be appealed.
The reasons are as follows:
1. We have concluded that no business regulations were violated in regards to this incident.
2. Due to insufficient evidence, the claims that were made could not be proven, meaning that the only possible violations could not be proven true.
Additional Information
1. Throughout our investigation, we have come across a few things which Johnny’s Subs will be required to fix.
2. Johnny's Subs must add a new section to their handbook defining the jobs and powers of every rank, including whether or not the rank is a command position.
3. This requirement must be completed as soon as possible and the president must be notified when it is completed.
```
The Department of Business Affairs has made the following changes based on the EAB findings;
1. Not allowing reforms without permission from the President
2. Redoing Section 5 DISIPLINARY ACTION PROVISIONS soon
The Department of Business Affairs mandates the following action against JOHNNY's SUBS;
1. Johnny's Subs must add a new section to their handbook defining the jobs and powers of every rank, including whether or not the rank is a command position.
It is found that the removal of DarkAstraeus was wrong, but did not violate any rules and thus they are not entitled to reinstatement.
