1. Ensure you utilize **Java Version 8 or 11** and **packaging of War**

2. Choose version **2.7.8** as your Spring Boot Version

3. Go into your pom.xml and **change version 2.7.8 to 2.7.7**. This will allow you to use the **Appendix** from the platform for your pom.xml

4. If you decide to stick with 2.7.8, **ensure to swap out the dependency with the 2.7.8 version**, as shown below (has been lightly tested, but do this at your own risk)

5. Once you set up everything in your pom.xml, do a Maven Update by right clicking your project, going into **Maven** and selecting **Update Project**

6. Try to boot your project. If you are met by an error similar to below, check your **application.properties** and ensure you have your **spring.datasource.url** properly configured (as shown below). If all of that is configured fine,
