## Guide to Paris. Lots of people are going to Paris this summer. Gonna write a general thing with some info. First, and foremost, food. Go to a bunch of bakeries, fresher in the morning. Get good croissants. Personal favorites: sacristain/pain suisse, millefeuille, kougnamann, and the classic pain au chocolat. [Good bakery](https://maps.app.goo.gl/tqwZp2EN1PCHwgcb6). Eat bread, and try salty things too. Go to random restaurants with good ratings. Neighborhoods with good food: - the 5th in general - [Le marais](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marais) - Around rue mouffetard https://maps.app.goo.gl/4kGq7FswydEbPvm66, got a market vibe to it - 13th has good asian food - rue Daguerre - etc...? Look for a market to get french products/see what it's like. Ideally get french cheese/meats/wine if you want. Go to the quais de seine. In between the 5th and the marais, walk around there. You can walk from around where the notre dame is to the musee d'orsay. It's very pretty and you can walk along the water. That area and around there is generally very pretty and historical. You feel the inspiring weight of time and it's one of my favorite places in Paris. Other things to do: - i think the catacombs are pretty cool. you can go to the museum or find someone to bring you there if you know anyone, prob not a good idea to go alone. the museum is nice. - museums - orsay - louvre - LVMH - smaller but i like this one https://www.cernuschi.paris.fr/ - bunch of other cool ones, the art is nice - natural history museum/jardin des plantes are nice - musee georges Pompidou - go inside the pantheon if it's open - rodin A lot of museums are free for young people. - check out the parks! eg - parc de luxembourg (central) - jardin des tuileries - bois de Vincennes - The opera garnier is really cool but pricy, have cool dance shows. It's incredibly beautiful inside - I like walking around at night and just vibing, pretty safe in the 5th/14th mostly. - i like climbing, arkose is good or climb up - there are some nice bike routes, i can ask friends if you want some Don't take it too personal if someone is rude to you, and show you can vibe with it.
