Power Regulator Baord for Nano
This board is used to power the jetson nano in the pioneer vehicle. As the SBC has changed into the Jetson Nano. The current regulator cannot supply the Jetson Nano's operation (5V4A nominal), so it is necessary to make a new version of power regulator for the new system.

The step-down module that we are using is the UHE-5/6000-Q12-C from MuRata.
The input range of the module is 9-36V DC and it can supply 5V6A in nominal range. The input side is connected to the system voltage, which is passed to the safety circuit on the motherboard and get a insulated ground to the battery gfround. The input connector is XT30. The output connectors have XT30 and DC jack 5.5-2.5 . Normally, we willuse the DC jack to connect to the Jetson Nano.
The board consists a individual safety circuit in the input side of the boards. Safety circuit contains a safety IC and a N-CHANNEL MOSFET. The IC is [757-TCKE812NA,RF](https://www.mouser.hk/datasheet/2/408/TCKE812NA_datasheet_en_20220817-3043915.pdf) and the MOSFET is [SSM6K513NU](https://www.mouser.hk/ProductDetail/Toshiba/SSM6K513NULF?qs=zPgndZZmKGbOGaIT7oO3Dw%3D%3D) . The rating range is -0.3 to 18V, continuous current is 0A to 5A. This IC performs short circuit protection, inverse voltage blocking and pulse protection. When the short circuit occurs, the IC will cut the circuit. In the view of the labbench power supply, the meter will show the voltage will become 2 - 3V and current will high. This scenes represent the operation of the Safety IC. The N-channel MOSFET is used to performs the reverse current blocking. The details have shown in the data sheet of the safety IC.
Soldering Mehtod:
As the footprint of the two IC is too narrow and small. For preventing the short circuit accident by hand soldering error. The two IC use the solder paste and hot air gun to do the soldering part. Setting the hot air gun temperature to 300 degress and 70 fan speeds, which high fan speed will cause the component blowing out.
Another component can be soldered by hand.
Reminder: In the schematic, C2's value will vary, just find the nearest value of capacitor is ok. As that capacitor is just using to control the slew rate of the input voltage.
