# Training Doctrine for Basic Agents The training place is expected to take place at the drive in. --- #### Phyisical Requirements 9 minutes 20 Jumping Jacks 10 laps around Drive in Theatre If they do not know how to preform them, explain, like: Jumping jacks are preformed in word, such as ONE TWO THREE, etc. They can also use digits. --- #### Firearms Usage and Tool Usage When on the range, state the following rule 1. Treat every firearm as if they are loaded. 2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. 3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. 4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. 5. Use if you have intent to kill or pose serious injury. ##### Equipment for the FBI: - Glock 23/22 9mm, 4 mags minimum, given to the FBI - MP5/Mini 14 MP5: 9x19mm, 4 mags minimum, Mini 14: 5.56mm, 4 mags minimum - Taser X2 Used 2 rounds, temporarly incapacitates subjects who were shot by the Taser - Radio Used to communicate with units and partner departments - Flashlight Used to see in the dark There is more too. ##### Levels of Force - Cooperative Controls The officer can diffuse a situation simply through being present and assertive. - Contact Controls: Non Pain techniques such as restraining and used to ensure compliance This may be used if a suspect is refusing to remain present. - Compliance Techniques: The deployment of balanced force is used to overcome an abusive or violent suspect. Equipment used may include a baton. - Defensive Tacticts: If the suspect is acting violently towards LEO or public, then they must take immediate action to regain control of the situation. This may include the deployment of pepper spray and Tasers. - Deadly: If there is an immediate and direct threat to life then the officer may deploy deadly force, to incapacitate a suspect. ##### Process of Reloading, Unlocking, and Using a Firearm. For this section, you are expected to be on a range, which is the drive in. You will have cadets line up somewhere and aim at a target. You will explain how to roleplay using the weapons, such as racking the weapon, reloading, etc. ##### Rules of Engagement: You may use deadly force if the following parameters are met: - Subject possesses a weapon or is attempting to gain access to a weapon under circumstances indicating an intention to use it against the agent or others - Subject is armed and is running to gain a tactical advantage of cover - Subject with a capability of inflicting death or serious physical injuries, or otherwise incapacitating agents or others without a weapon, is demonstrating an intention to do so. - The subject is attempting to escape a vicinity of a crime or violent confrontation, in which the subject has inflicted or attempted to inflict death or serious physical injury. --- #### Breaching, and Arresting ##### Breaching When breaching, you will go to a building to practice on, preferably Sunshine Apartments. Agents must not go infront of a window, since if they do they are at risk of getting shot at through the window. Explain Formations simpler if needed, and demonstrate the formations with them. First person on the left is the Commander of the Breach, or the first one in a single stack. - X formation People stacking up on both sides, When breaching, expected pattern: Left, Right, Left, Right, etc. - Y formation People stacking on the right or left, based on the space on either side. First Person is commander, 1 - Goes straighht to the left 2- Goes to the right ##### Arresting Arresting has their prequisities, and process of preforming them - Prequisities To prevent a crime taking place To bring justice to someone who has commited a crime To bring justice to someone who is suspected of commiting a crime To protect persons from harm To protect property from criminal damage - Process of Arrest You must identify yourself " FBI! " Command the arrestee to get down on the ground, or otherwise " GET DOWN ON THE GROUND! " " DON'T MOVE! " Move in with the arrest when you are secure " He'd approach him, " " He'd pin him, " " He'd cuff him, " Then state to them the crime they have committed, and their rights. " You are under arrest for assault. " --- #### Scenarios, and Reaction Test - Scenarios Preform scenarios with the info and training you have given them, Example: Man with a gun, Search warrant, Violent confrontation. - Reaction Test Preform reaction tests on every recruit to be ready to act if they sense anything suspicious, or anything a subject does which they have intent to kill or harm, or otherwise. " Instructor: I reach for my gun, " " Agent: I charge at him, I twisted his hand,", etc.
