### MISSION - Through usability test, collect feedback to determine if we are on the track ======================================================== ## Interview flow ### Intro - **Introduction** - Company, position, project - Current prototype doesn't contain privacy specific functionality yet. - But has the foundation for the kind of user experience that we are *hoping* is useful and intuitive. - **Meson wallet** - privacy-focused, multi-sig, desktop app wallet - Prototype -> basic functions(send/receive token) - **Goal of the interview** - By interacting with the prototype, hearing feedback on the usability and first impression - **Procedures of the interview** - *We’ll record the interview for analysis internally.* 1. Having the interviewee play around with it for minutes 2. Questioning impressions/thoughts about each screen(layout/contents/flow) by sections - Landing page - start page - Dashboard - Send/Receive token - Confirm transaction - Transactions queue / history - Change owner info(threshold/add/remove/swap) - Create a new wallet / Add an existing wallet ### -- Record the interview --- ### Observation --- - **Play around with it (2- 3 mins)** *If the interviewee ask how to use, tell the interviewee that you don't need to care whether it's correct or not, and simply imagine how to use and try - Q: What was your first impression when you used our prototype wallet? - A: When he uses a wallet app, he always finds "New transaction" at first. Meson wallet is clear to find it and the flow is also simple and clear. - A: Transaction overview screen looks nice, it's useful to check queued transactions easily. - Q: What would you rate the usability of our wallet for now? And why would you rate that? - A: Overall, good UI and flow. --- - **Splash screen - start page** - Q: What do you think about the splash screen? - A: n/a - Q: What do you think about the layout and the contents? - Q: There’s a section where you can select recent used wallets. What do you think of it? - A: "Recent" section made him confused at first without explanation. And it may make confused users as well, so the wording may need to be changed or add some more description. - **Dashboard** - Q: What do you think about the layout and the contents? Are those clear to you or unnecessary on the dashboard? - A: He didn't understand what the owner section meant. - Q: What else would you like to see on dashboard? - A: The contents displayed on dashboard are suffice - **Send/Receive token** - Would you walk through and send token? - Q: How was the flow? Was it clear and easy enough to use? - A: Now the total amount on the top of the modal is USD, but for them, it's easy to understand to be Eth or selected token. - A: Address book shoul be added for users who frequesntly/regulary send transactions. That would be helpful for users to select recipient without mistakes. - A: Listing gas price should also be good for users. - **Confirm transaction** - Would you walk through and confirm a transaction? - Q: How was the flow? Was it clear and easy enough to use? - A: The flow is clear. - **Transactions queue / history** - Q: What do you think about the layout and the contents? Are those clear to you or unnecessary? - A: - Q: What else would you like to see on transactions page/details? - A: Adding some more description about the transactions to each line would be helpful, as don't need to open and see. - **Change owner setting** - Would you walk through and change current owner setting? - Q: What do you think about the flow? Was it clear and easy enough to use? - A: Editing owner setting are not so clear. He knew what it meant, but took more time to reach the screen as normally he doesn't change owner setting so often, so the priority of usage is low. →The edit icon may be put nearer to the owners section in Dashboard? - **Create a new wallet** - Would you walk through and create a new wallet? - Q: What do you think about the flow? Was it clear and easy enough to use? - A: pretty clear, but may be confused sometimes as they need to click too many. --- ### Outro - Q: Are there any contents/flows that you didn't understand well or were confused about? - A: Overall, clear UI/UX, and they seem to look forward to using the production.
