  • About Me : As a passionate Graph Advocate, web3 developer, and teacher, I have dedicated my career to exploring the possibilities of decentralized technology. I have a unique perspective on the potential of web3 and the role that The Graph will play in shaping the future of the decentralized web. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and experience with others, and I believe that through education and collaboration, we can build a more equitable and secure digital future. The Story : I was in Banglore, India from 2 Dec. 2022 to 4 Dec. 2022 to attend ETHIndia as a Graph Advocate where I got an opportunity to meet some of the amazing people from The Graph Ecosystem, which included Martin, and Matt from The Graph Foundation, and Pranav, Simon, and Krishna from Edge & Node. During my conversation with Martin, we discussed how The Graph needs a stronger community presence in India because of the growing developer and web3 presence here. We also discussed how beneficial it would be to have someone here in India to host events, lead social channels, and engage the local community. This is when the idea of building The Graph India first came to me. Why The Graph should have a strong community presence in India? There are several reasons why The Graph protocol should focus on building a strong community in India: Large developer population: India has a large and growing population of developers, many of whom are interested in decentralized technologies and blockchain. By building a community in India, The Graph can tap into this pool of talent and encourage more developers to build using the protocol. Potential for growth: India is a rapidly growing market for technology and has a large number of potential users for decentralized applications. By building a strong community in India, The Graph can help to promote the use and adoption of the protocol in this market.
