### Title
## Plot
### scene 1 :
Ella is a timid girl who lives with her aunt who has a private library. Her aunt tells her to never read a certain book because it will cause trouble, but she is still attracted to it. Ella reads it when her aunt is out of town. She discovers it is a magic book. She can enter and exit the fairy tale land of the book when she reads this book loudly. Ella can choose to enter any scene of the story.
### scene 2 :
She is so excited and tells her friends about all of the characters she becomes friends with. She enjoys becoming friends with princesses. Ella has a bold idea because she knows what will happen to each story, maybe she can help the princesses avoid their troubles in the story.
### scene 3 :
However, things never go as Ella planned. She steals the poisonous apple from the Queen’s room in 'Snow White'. Snow lives and becomes the queen. Unexpectedly, she is cruel to the people. In the meantime, her aunt finds out about the problems due to the content of all the fairy tale books being changed. This magic book controls all fairy tale books. The children who read 'Snow White' are so scared and can not stop crying. The poster of the 'Snow White' changes into a violent design also.
### scene 4 :
Having befriended all of the princesses in the books, Ella thinks that perhaps she can solve this without too much trouble. She goes to Snow White and asks her why she is acting this way. Snow White laughs, and says she will do whatever she wants, since she is Queen now. She has Ella thrown into a prison cell, and Ella paces nervously, fearful of what might come next.
### scene 5 :
Just as Ella thinks she will spend the rest of her life in the prison cell, her aunt uses the book to come to her rescue. She appears in the prison cell, and whisks Ella back to the real world.
### scene 6 :
Ella breaks down and tells her aunt what she has done. She says she doesn’t know why things are happening the way they are-- all she wanted was for Snow White to live peacefully like she deserved. Ella’s aunt explains that fairy tales are by their nature not realistic-- and by interfering, Ella has knocked things off their planned course. Now, Snow White has become power-hungry, as people in her position so often do in reality.
### scene 7 :
Ella says she must find a way to set things right, but her aunt tells her it won’t be easy-- other fairy tales have been similarly altered by Ella’s actions. Ella realizes that she has to try, because the children of the world are depending on her to fix the stories they love. Not only that, but the characters within the fairy tale world are depending on her.
### scene 8 :
Ella ventures back into the fairy tale world. She finds other characters whose stories she has interfered with-- Cinderella, etc.-- and brings them with her to see Snow White. Snow White orders her guards to arrest everyone, but Ella begs her to hear them out first. Snow White considers this for a moment, and then agrees.
### scene 9 :
Ella tells the characters that they are better than this. She interfered in their stories to give them control over their own lives, and help them avoid what fate had in store for them. Instead of making the most of this opportunity, they are instead squandering it on evil and becoming as bad as the people she was trying to save them from. But they don’t have to be evil-- in their hearts, they know what they are doing is wrong. The characters all look at each other, and collectively sigh and nod their heads.
### scene 10 :
Snow White apologizes and says that Ella is right. She calls an assembly and tells her people she is sorry for being cruel, and will do better in the future. Ella returns the other characters to their own stories, and they offer similar apologies to her and everyone else. Ella returns to the real world, and her aunt tells her it has worked-- the characters have chosen their own destinies, and all of them have become good people. Children all over the world are overjoyed to be reading about characters who choose the direction of their lives instead of following paths that were already laid out before them.
