Ella finds a luxury mirror when her aunt is out of town. There is a lot of beautiful patterns in the mirror. They change into spells when Ella touches the patterns. Ella can’t believe it when she can enter and exit the mirror when she reads the spell. ### scene 2 : Ella enters a garden full of plants she has never seen before. She meets an elf named Peter in this garden. They soon become friends. Peter shows Ella around the garden and tells Ella the garden is Queen Mary’s favorite garden who also rules the magic country. Everyone in this country has magic power. Ella is envious and asks Peter whether she can get the magic power. Peter asks her the reason she wants the magic power. ### scene 3 : Ella explains that she never sees her parents and her Aunt avoids talking about that also. She believes that the magic power will help her find what happened to her parents. Peter tells Ella the magic power he has comes naturally. Maybe Queen Mary is the only one who can give her the magic power. ### scene 4 : He takes Ella to visit the Queen Mary. Mary tells Ella she can give Ella the magic power if Ella can complete the three tasks without others’ help. Mary gives Ella a book, a map and tells Ella she will need to complete the three tasks in order for her to acquire magic power and have a chance to find the truth about her parents. ### scene 5 : With Peter's help, Ella finds the first task. She needs to retrieve a gold leaf on the fairy tree. They follow the direction on the map and find the tree successfully. However, Ella is exhausted soon, because the leaf is too hard to take off and she can't do that at all. She starts to cry and the tear falls on the leaf, it then becomes soft, Peter sees the change and helps Ella take the leaf off. Queen Mary tells Ella that she needs to finish the second task by herself. ### scene 6 : By the guidance of the book, Ella then finds the second task — retrieving a crystal ball from the terrifying crystal witch, a witch always drinks the maiden's blood to keep her beauty. Ella feels scared, she doesn't think she can finish it by herself, she asks for help from Peter secretly. Peter refuses her request, he can still accompany her, but the Queen Mary warns him he can't help her this time and will be punished if he breaks his promise. Peter encourages Ella to be brave and she will have the power to find the truth about her parents. ### scene 7 : Ella summons the courage to do the task. The two sneak into the lair, the witch is sleeping, the crystal ball is on a shelf in the center of the lair. Ella tiptoes quietly through the lair, avoiding waking the witch up. Unfortunately, the ball makes a loud noise when Ella takes it out of the shelf. The witch wakes up and laughs wildly because she feels Ella's blood will be tasty. She pounces on Ella. ### scene 8 : Although warned not to help Ella, Peter attacks the witch with his magic power, Ella takes the crystal ball and manages to escape with Peter. On the way back to the Queen, Peter's body starts to disappear slowly because Peter broke his promise. Ella cries heavily because she thinks that's her fault. She rushes back to the Queen to beg for help to save Peter. ### scene 9 : Queen Mary is infuriated at Peter's disobedience, she gives Ella two choices: Ella completing the third task recieving the magic power to Ella. Or Ella gives up the third task, she won't get the magic power anymore and exchange the opportunity to save Peter. Ella expresses she doesn’t want to get the magic power any more. ### scene 10 : Ella decides to save Peter without any hesitation. Queen Mary praises her decision and save Peter. Queen tells Ella even though she can’t get magic power this time, she still offers another chance to her. She will give Ella the magic power if Ella completes another three tasks. Ella still can get the hint from the book she gives Ella, but these three will be harder. Ella thanks the queen Mary and takes the new challenge. She promises she will finish them by herself. Peter expresses he will stay with Ella. Ella and Peter start their new exploration.
