# Kindelia Tenets Kindelia is an unstoppable, credibly neutral, efficient and provably secure p2p functional computer we are radically maximizing for: - Decentralization - Stability - Efficiency Hardcore minimalism, finalized protocol with formal spec, locked down no governance, pure HVM are the radical conclusions following those objectives. Long term robust stability with sufficient practical capacity is our niche and where most protocol value will come from. ## Minimalist Simplicity and leanness is the biggest edge for real decentralization and robustness. The number of independent entities understanding the full code capable of implementing it, is a much better measure of decentralization than hashrate or holders. minimal core maintainers required, with minimal political power, with minimal bar of becoming one. also stimulates node diversity. our niche is choosing simple lower utility over complex higher utility. strongly gravitate towards choosing simplicity on tradeoff decisions. ## Maximally decentralized on every level While simplicity is the core ingredient of real decentralization, we radically minimize dependencies and by principle reject external dependencies on parts which don't adhere to our ideals. we run as much native as possible. we minimize political centralization and avoid tying central personas too much to the public Kindelia image. the goal of the Kindelia association is to bootstrap the ecosystem through grants, education, tools, UX and contract development and dissolve its influence over time. we are fully committed to PoW, due to its superior robustness and decentralization. PoS is of more political nature, easier to fork and, most importantly, increases core complexity which conflicts with our core ideals. ## Finalized and Ossified Real decentralization and robustness has to be encoded from the genesis block. Decentralizing over time is much more difficult for many reasons and fundamentally cannot compete with decentralization from genesis. Kindelia launches complete, it is considered done, final with a formal spec. This allows to lock it down from genesis with zero developer privileges and zero governance features. For ossification, it does not have to be the perfect system, just perfect enough to work. Locking it down from the genesis block is incredibly powerful for long-term stability and decentralization, while putting all focus on development on top of this stable core. ## Efficiency Kindelia is uniquely positioned to be extraordinarily stable and robust due to its simplicity, yet being so efficient and capable due to the HVM that it still exceeds the complex, more centralized L1 behemoths in practical utility. That's the superpower for adoption and growth. Vital is fast HVM compute and cheap storage. Kindelia should import interpreted HVM-CUDA. Maximizing long-term stability for apps that run forever, while having cheap native formal verification to guarantee their correctness + efficiency is the killer app.  --- How can we create a Schelling point impossible to social fork?
