- clone status-desktop repo
- check that u are on master branch
- git pull to make sure u are on recent commit
- git checkout -b {new branch name}
- then go to go repo in cd vendor/status-go
- pull the specific PR u need in status-go
- go back to status-desktop root of the project
- git add. to add status-go
- commit 
- push
