I've found a bug!

You were using the application and found something that does not look accurate - well , this could happen! It is time now to document it. How?

  1. before logging (creating) any bugs, try to reproduce the same scenario several times and make sure there is a problem

  2. make sure u are using release build, which can be downloaded here https://github.com/status-im/status-desktop/releases

  3. before reporting any bug, make sure u enabled everything u need in Advanced section. We have a lot of features that are in Alpha, so they are hidden under the toggles.

  • The image path is incorrect
  • The image format is not supported

  1. try to name the problem as meaningful as it potentially could be (this will help us a lot to tackle it accordingly)
  • not the best naming: I can't do anything
  • much better title: Can't open wallet tab
  1. in the description of the issue, add as detailed steps (how u found the bug) as possible, screenshots and video recordings are more than welcome

  2. add information about the environment, for example: MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2 (20G95) and the build u are using, for example 0.2.1-beta (beta 11)
