# 1. The Identification Presentation Act
An act to formally establish the requirement to present identification.
Be it enacted by the Senate of Mayflower in Congress assembled,
SECTION I. LONG TITLE; SEVERABILITY; EFFECTIVE DATE
(a) An act to formally establish the requirement to present
identification upon request by a law enforcement officer and
criminalizing the refusal to do so.
(b) This act shall be severable so that if any part of this act is found
to be unconstitutional, the rest of this act shall remain intact
unless also found to be unconstitutional.
(c) This act shall go into effect immediately.
SECTION II. DEFINITIONS
(a) Law enforcement officer shall refer to any on-duty member of a
law enforcement agency listed under the Public Servants Act.

(b) FOID card shall refer to the green Firearm Owners Identification
card acquired through purchasing a firearms license.
SECTION III. DOCUMENTATION; ENFORCEMENT
(a) Anyone found in possession of a firearm or ammunition may be
requested to present their FOID card by a law enforcement
officer.
(b) Any individual who refuses to present their FOID card upon
request shall be held liable for “Unlicensed possession of a
firearm” and, at the discretion of the law enforcement officer,
“Disorderly conduct”.
(c) Any individual who refuses to present their FOID card upon
request shall have their weapon(s) and ammunition confiscated.
SECTION IV. TIMEFRAME
(a) Upon the signature, officiation, and pronunciation of this bill
by the Governor of the State of Mayflower, this act shall be in
effect indefinitely until the bill is nullified or repealed by an Act
of Congress.
SECTION V. NULLIFICATION
(a) This act may be nullified or repealed by an Act of Congress.
