# COMPUTEX 2025
COMPUTEX of this year becomes much bigger than ever years. It is hard to go through whole around in one day.

Keep the AI heat as last year. Here are a lot of AI servers and related hardware components demo. Besides, Edge AI boxes (a.k.a. Industrial computer) take a big portion, too. Some are automotive related. And, as usual, the gaming related and many kind of cooling systems & parts. Comparing to the popular keywords, laptops have calm down. Still some laptops, but much less. However, demos of real physical AI applications catch my eyes more.
## Blueprints
Gigabyte has a booth demoing that transfer a Blender 3D model into pysical model by giving prompt to NVIDIA [Blueprints](https://build.nvidia.com/blueprints). Although, the transferred result might be not expected sometimes. :)

## Project G-Assist
GIGABYTE has a booth demoing [Project G-Assist](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/g-assist/): *It is an AI assistant powered by your GeForce RTX PC that helps you tune, control, and optimize your system.*



It even tells me the running process.

## GiMATE
GIGABYTE demos:
* Tell GiMATE what you are going to do, for example play a game. Then, it will tune the system for gaming scenario.
* They also introduce built-in reducing recording noise with AI model feature. It will record a period of the user's voice, then analyze to get characters. So, it will only accept the voice having the characters, others will be filtered out. This is suitable to voice content related producers and e-meeting. Comparing to traditional finding the most loader voice, filtering by characters gets better quality.

## Motion Anomaly Detection
Inventec demos using AI vision to watch prodution line. If it detects any abnormality, the alarm will be triggered and the production line should do something accordingly.

It also can supervise that the operator's do the action correctly, or not to maintain the quality.

## Heart Score
Inventec demos the app which can analyze the ECG & HRV from an user's Apple watch. The result of the analyzation gives a score and risk level of the user's heart. If there is any problem, it can even share the report to pre-configured friends as a notification.

## Patient Monitoring in Smart Healthcare
Through real-time image recognition, the patient's current condition is determined and displayed to show whether there is any abnormality in the patient's condition. For example, a fall requires assistance. This is great for long-term care at home, too!

## Medical Imaging for Surgery
Smart medical care can be used at:
* Determining the location of polyps by colonoscopy.
* Determine whether the measured physiological information of the patient is abnormal.
* Display the name of the surgical instrument.

## Agri Smart AI / Farming
A Japan team uses machines to inspect farms. Use image recognition to:
* Determine the condition of plants and whether they need watering or fertilization.

* Determine the quantity and health of the fruit. Compare the time before and after to see if there is any change in the number of fruits.

Solomon's image recognition determines the operator's actions. The robot repeats the same action in real-time! Not only the big action, but also watches the movement of fingers!!!

## SECOM's AI Vision Detection
SECOM uses real-time image recognition to determine the current status of the cases. If there is any danger, issue an alarm immediately.

Routine site inspections remotely. Safety hat and safety-oriented back harness are checked.


Detected the fire disaster.

Find someone is wounded.

Notice the fire and smoke.

Found suspicious person.

Someone leaves garbage after the car.

## Monitoring in a Factory by Vision
During factory inspections, real-time image recognition can be used to determine whether industrial safety regulations are met. Issue warnings if it detects dangerous conditions. It can eevn co-work with ERP systems.

## Traffic Safety
ITRI has a traffic safety assistance device. On the left is the camera, and on the right is the Edge AI box.

Edge AI box determines by real-time image recognition whether there are pedestrians at the intersection. If so, it sends out signal to the cars around, and the cars should slows down to stop. And, of course, to implement the feature, the traffic safety assistance device should be installed at intersections and cars should be equipped with receivers & related control design.

## Laser Light Source/ Projection
ITRI makes laser light sources, which may be used in holographic, AR, and smart glasses in the future. Here demos with red light. Blue and green are under development.

## POS / Kiosk Machine with AI Vision Detection
There are many POS and Kiosk machines in the exhibition hall. Advantech demonstrated how to determine the status of self-service checkout with real-time image recognition. For example, whether the barcode of each product is scanned correctly.

## Superconducting Quantum Computer
ITRI assists Academia Sinica to produce low-temperature (4K) superconducting quantum computing. There are 5 qubits currently. They are trying to compose two 5 qubits as 10 qubits. But the circuit is under development.

I strolled through halls and floors whole day, until Nangang International Exhibition Center called it a day.

Found a café to write down this note. However, one cup of coffee time is not enough apparently.
