### Check-in
_Include your name and answer any of the following prompts: How are you today? What are you working on? Where do you need support?_
* Catherine: Feeling relaxed after a week off (I'm sure I said something pretty similar at the start of the last one of these calls too!) - but also slightly overwhelmed by all the things in my diary and email!
* SG: Anybody got any tips for getting your writing mojo back? I'm writing a talk at the minute and it's the HARDEST THING EVER. I also keep flirting with the idea of bringing my blog back but worried about not being able to create anything.
* SS: You could talk to ChatGPT - it can be useful-ish - also you can forgive yourself and just go into full on mind dump mode and write down everything and anything quickly without thinking about grammar, spelling or structure and then come back to it the next day - you might see the start of an angle taking this approach.
* PH: I thought that I was really good at blogging at the start of the year and then mojo went (well, CW24 (SS::tada:) happened...). I could do with an accountability buddy to poke me to blog about stuff that could be interesting
* Colin: looking forward to (almost) a week off starting Friday and feeling more relaxed after a large number of grant deadlines in the past few weeks.
* Patricia: I'm good - just back from a week off and the weather is not too bad. Trying to figure out what needs to be wrapped up in 2024.
* Shoaib - Working on financial projections for the next year or two for the eScience Lab team and its myriad projects.
* Yo - thinking about 2025 :)
* Iain - developing a research computing strategy for my college; support required: developing a research computing strategy for my college.
* Sam: slightly panicked last-minute prep for a [workshop I'm organising next week](https://eurocsdmswork.shop/).
