SSG Landers coach Jung Kyung-bae is switching to the Hanwha Eagles.
Hanwha announced the signing of Chung in a press release on Sept. 27.
Chung, who began his playing career with the Samsung Lions in 1996, retired from the [SK Wyverns](http://redleaflogic.biz/pukiwiki-1.4.7_notb/index.php?sportstotomen1) (now the SSG Landers) in 2009 and immediately began coaching at SK.
He then went on to coach the Doosan Bears and Hanwha before returning to SSG in 2022 and spending two seasons in Incheon until this season.
When Hanwha was looking for a new head coach to assist outgoing head coach Choi Won-ho this year, Chung came to mind.
"Chung has worked with young players as a hitting coach for the [Hanwha Futures](https://maps.google.by/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fsportstotomen.com%2F) in 2020, so he has a good understanding of the players," said a Hanwha representative. "He will be involved in the hitting department as well, focusing on improving the skills of the outfielders."
"I came back to Hanwha with a heavy responsibility to perform well in harmony with Coach Choi," Chung said through the organization. "I will focus on mental management for the players who have improved their skills, while the younger players will focus on technical training," he said.
"Above all, communication between the manager and the coaching staff and between the coaching staff and the players is important, so I will play a good role in the middle from my position," he said. [토토사이트](https://www.sportstotomen.com/category/%ec%8a%a4%ed%8f%ac%ec%b8%a0%ed%86%a0%ed%86%a0/)
