# 'Gold1-Dong3' Table Tennis Shin Yubin "The result of our joint efforts is meaningful and precious"

After a tremendous achievement at the [Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games](https://sportstotosite.xyz/2023/10/baseball-wins-8th-inning-cold-game-over-hong-kong/), Women's Table Tennis Team member Shin Yubin shares her thoughts on the Games.

Shin Yubin's rise to prominence at the Asian Games has been meteoric. She teamed up with Jeon Jeon-hee to win the women's doubles gold medal. It was the first time in 21 years that Korean table tennis had won an Asian Games gold medal.

In addition to the gold, [Shin](http://wiki.law.msu.ru/index.php/%D0%9E%D0%B1%D1%81%D1%83%D0%B6%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5_%D1%83%D1%87%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B0:Sportstotomen2) won bronze in the women's team event, women's singles, and mixed doubles.

In total, South Korea won eight medals - one gold, two silver, and five bronze - in every event they competed in.

"This tournament was a lucky opportunity that came my way, so I wanted to be grateful and create happy matches with no regrets," [Shin Yubin](https://images.google.com.do/url?sa=t&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsportstotomen.com%2F) said on her personal social media account on March 3. "I tried my best in every match, and I think the good results came with it," she added.

"It was a team effort, so it's even more meaningful, and every medal I won at this tournament is very important to me and I'm grateful for it," he added.

"I would like to thank and love my coach and coaching staff who worked hard behind the scenes for us, as well as my sisters and brothers who have been a great support to each other," he said.

After the tournament, most of the players delayed their return home to compete in the World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender in Lanzhou, China, and the WTT Contender Muscat in Oman. The team is expected to return home on Nov. 24 after completing the back-to-back Contender events.
