# Women's tennis fails to advance past Brazil in Billie Jean King Cup PO

The South Korean women's tennis team failed to advance past Brazil in the playoffs of the [Billie Jean King Cup](https://bpa-mastery.mn.co/posts/42872308) for the national competition.

The team lost the second day of the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Playoffs (best-of-five, best-of-three) with a final score of 0-4 at the Brasilia Arena BRB in Brazil on Nov. 11 (local time).

Playing at third singles, Park So-hyun (Seongnam City Hall) fell to Beatrice Adad Maia 0-2 (2-6 1-6).

The match was scheduled to be played as 4 singles-1 doubles, but the match was decided after the third singles, leading to doubles without a fourth singles.

In doubles, Baek Da-yeon and Lee Jung-young (NH Bank) lost 0-2 (1-6 2-6) to Ingrid Gamara Martins and Luisa Stephanie, and the Korean team lost the match 0-4.
