# TL;DR Requesting 40 ETH for Paperclip Labs' contributions to Nouns, covering retroactive funding for past work and the proactive completion of NounSwap. # Retroactive Work Since late 2023, [Paperclip Labs](https://paperclip.xyz) has been contributing to Nouns with minimal compensation. NounSwap already supports acquisition via auction, redeeming $nouns, treasury swaps, and instant swaps. To further enhance our offerings, we will be adding secondary market purchases. Additionally, we will be implementing UX improvements to celebrate the acquisition of a Noun, ensuring the moment feels as magical as it truly is. # Funding Request * **33 ETH**: Retroactive funding to Paperclip Labs for the work completed thus far within the Nouns ecosystem. * **5 ETH**: Proactive funding to Paperclip Labs for the completion of NounSwap. * **2 ETH**: Marketing funding to [Toady Hawk](https://warpcast.com/toadyhawk.eth) to help drive usage. **Total: 40 ETH** (38 ETH to Paperclip Labs, 2 ETH to Toady Hawk) # Sustainability We are committed to the ongoing maintenance of NounSwap. 32 ETH from this proposal will be used for solo staking an Ethereum validator. The staking yield, combined with client incentives, will ensure NounSwap's self-sufficiency, eliminating the need for future funding requests from the DAO. # Team We’re [Paperclip Labs](https://paperclip.xyz/).
