Week 1 - HackMD

# Week 1 Hi I am [Soubhik](https://github.com/Soubhik-10) and this is my week 1 update of EPF6. My main two targets are Pureth and Focil. ### [Pureth EIP-7919](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7919) Pureth has many other eips as requirements. This implementation will likely be very invasive as the EL uses mainly RLP encoding scheme and Pureth is suggesting that [transactions](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-6404), [receipts](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-6466) etc should use SSZ. It also introduces some new types such as **StableContainer[N]**, **Profile[B]**, **ProgressiveLists**. I could not find any implementation of these other than the specs and these prs ([SC](https://github.com/status-im/nim-ssz-serialization/pull/84), [PL](https://github.com/status-im/nim-ssz-serialization/pull/113)) by [Etan Kissling](https://github.com/etan-status). I along with my friend [Ishika](https://github.com/Rimeeeeee), manually tested the types using the test cases in specs. You can find the code [here](https://github.com/Soubhik-10/r_ssz/pull/46) and [here](https://github.com/Soubhik-10/r_ssz/issues/39). ### [FOCIL EIP-7805](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7805) I have read the eip and went through the discussion in [ethereum-magicians](https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/eip-7805-fork-choice-inclusion-lists-focil-as-a-candidate-for-glamsterdam/24342). I have also checked the linked prs from different clients there. A few of the clients have already implemented the initial parts of focil. This is likely going to be my preferred project. Along with these I wrapped a few of my prs in reth , foundry and alloy. ### Next week plans In the next week I will focus on FOCIL and try to draft a proposal.
