# Student Presentation Plan
Basic suggestion:
- 5 minutes per participant (or 2 if too many people)
- Timing (need to choose)
- 5 minutes: 35 participants * 5 minutes per participant = 175 minutes $\approx$ 3 hours
- Break in between / split into two 90 minute sessions
> [name=Rohit] I like this ^
> [name=Justin] Maybe a midway 10 minute break as well
- 2 minutes: 35 participants * 2 minutes per participant = 70 minutes $\approx$ 1.25 hour
- Presentation goal
- Shine light on participant's hard work
- Presentation mediums
- Poster
- The poster would allow the company reps to take a look at their leisure (namely after event)
- Could concurrently have each participant present their poster individually in separate session
- Could present posters in powerpoint synchronously
- Slides
- Can concatenate slides into powerpoint the day before +1
- Determine presentation ordering ahead of time
- 3 slides per person: one for each deliverable
> [name=Rohit] I think 3 would be good, they have 3 deliverables each
- Resume drop? (maybe out of scope)
- Avenue for participants to share resume with recruiting companies
- Link to resume on poster
> [name=Rohit] Depending on how we set up the poster, we could basically give them a little bit of web space for links (other than the poster itself)
> [name=Justin] I quite like this. +1
- Presentation storage
- LFS git repo on GH +1 public facing
- Cloud Storage: Google drive/dropbox/etc
- Record
- Could record session, post to youtube
- Use obs
- Need to get participants permission
Decisions:
- Concurrent sessions?
- Presentation Medium(s) to use?
- Storage medium?
- Should we record?
> [name=Rohit] If we get their permission
- Time(s) to present?
