- [x] pumpkin - [x] lantern - [x] witch - [x] broom - [x] cauldron - [x] zombie - [x] trick - [x] treat - [x] black cat - [x] ghost # Which witch which witches bewitched witch switches switches witch switches? Unrest permeated the air. The gross beverage, whose pungent smell made anyone **treat** it with respect, wasn't difficult to mold. A **pumpkin**, carved and molten, stirred dexterously with an enchanted **broom** — twice widdershins, thrice deasil — and warmed by a **lantern** (a **trick** to induce magic). This wasn't why the **witch** stood aghast and her companion **ghost** floated likewise. A **black cat**. *The* authentic sign of trouble like a **zombie** knocking on the door, according to common sense and *The Witchcraft Practitioner's Manual*. The trouble hanging from a cobweb just above the **cauldron**. The abhorrent fluid wasn't difficult to make — if kept under control. Slightest contamination could easily reduce a town to ashes. *Wizards under forty weren't even taught it.* The **witch**'s experience deemed safety precautions unnecessary. That day she'd regretted her attitude. She did have something too precious to lose, after all. “All my potions— what a cat— astrophe!” While she was busy panicking, the **ghost** conjured an idea. He reached for the switch inside a magical shell, unbreakable yet thin enough to be translucent, encased in an Amazon delivery parcel to shoo drama away. He toggled the switch. Wind emerged out of thin air and morphed into a vortex, gently carrying the cat away. The cat meowed in horror, tried to resist the air flow, accepted its dominance, meowed again, and surrendered. The disaster was averted.
