# Week Three Notes
## Change of plan
In this week, we had intended to delve into understanding a bit more of the new platform that was introduced: The Ambassador's Platform. Instead, we postponed our workshop so that when we did engage we could meet with the team that deals most closely with the ambassadors. This will give us a much more rounded idea of the process and the user needs.
In the third week, after changing plan, we ran a workshop that investigated and defined the Educator platforms more closely. We decided that even without full settling on a plan, that the content of this workshop would still be useful going forward for JLU and EDD.
## Wednesday workshop
In this workshop we devised a user persona of an educator in order to work out their motivations, needs and frustrations. The identified characteristics helped to inform later decisions in the workshop.
Next, we constructed a user flow for each route. This began by the user landing on the resource/training homepage and navigating through to the end goal. Unlike mapping in the previous week, this focused in more detail on the exact steps and details like searching/filtering, how the results were displayed and how the user would view the resource/training material.
In the second half of this workshop we ran another cycling for each route, exploring the Need/Nice-to-have-features and drawing out the ssumptions and how they would validated. This time on the need/nice features we focused on content and how that would be structured in terms of formatting and engagement. The assumptions/validations exercise was useful in preparation for the prototyping phase.
## Team Collaboration
The collaborating team presented us an idea of how the programme could be structured from both sides of engagement. As their engagement stretches to rebranding the main site and using particular software particularly for the training platform, it has been a challenge to work out how best to incorporate our prototyping plans into the process. We hope that next week will be a defining point in terms of what role we specifically play and how to effectively delegate sections of the overarching plan.
