# Welcome to the Dev Shop! So I hear you want to be a developer! So exciting. There is so much work for the devs right now and we need people like you! These lessons will get you ready to pass the Thinkful technical evaluation[LINK TO TE DESCRIPTION]. You will be guided through the lessons by Caitlyn, who is your 'supervisor' in a fictional dev shop. Caitlyn is like a product manager / mentor who works with clients and brings their feature requests to you, the developer. This simulates what it is like to be a developer on the job, and what it is like to be interviewed for developer jobs. You will be served requests to build new features or fix/improve features, and you will need to figure out how to get it done. Exciting!
