## Overmap Specifics
### Asteroid Storms
These storms will damage your shields, and when your shields are fully breached, will cause impacts that will explode random areas of your ship.
### Electrical Storms
These storms severely damage your shields, and when shields are fully breached, will cause tesla-like shocks to random parts of your ship.
### Ion Storms
These storms will slowly damage your shields, and when shields are fully breached, will randomly EMP equipment on your ship.
### Planetoids
These small planets can be landed on and usually will have some form of anomaly or ruin to explore. Landscape and vegetation depends on type.
|Color|Biome|
|-----|-----|
|Green|Temperate|
|Grey|Wasteland|
|Light Blue|Tundra|
|Orange|Volcanic|
### Energy Signature
These anomalous energy signatures sometimes lead to an abandoned structure of some type abandoned in space.
### Meteors
These large space rocks are generally rich in one kind of resource, and are the preferred mining choice among many asteroid miners. Beware: dangerous fauna have been reported inhabiting some meteors.
### Nebulae
These mostly harmless nebula clouds block sensors, but can be harvested for rare gases if you have specialized equipment. Beware of enemy ships hiding amongst them, though!
### Wormholes
These strange occurences are usually stable and can lead to a random part of your current solar system, but beware an unstable one, as it can cause severe damage directly to your ship's hull!
### Stars
These giant flaming balls of gas will melt your ship and crew if you let your shields fail when too close to it, so be wary!
## Piloting

*The helm console screen.*
This guide will break down the parts of the helm console display by section, and provide a step-by-step guide at the very end on how to fly like a pro.
### Panel Info
#### Navigation

The bread and butter of flying, this panel accepts commands on which direction to burn the engines in. Pressing the middle circular button will cause the engines to fire in reverse, slowing and/or stoping the vessel.
##### Docking
Additionally, you can use the button in the upper-right to dock/undock your vessel.
#### Velocity

This panel shows the speed, heading(direction), position, and ETA to the next tile of the craft.
#### Engines

This panel shows the name and fuel level of all the detected engines on the ship. You can click the engine's names to toggle them to strategically save fuel.
#### Ship Info

This panel shows the name, class, shield integrity, sensor range, and mass of your vessel. Click the ship name to rename it.
#### Radar

This panel shows all of the objects in docking range of your ship. Hit the button in the "Act" column to interact with an object.
