## Agenda
[toc]
Getting lore out to the players: Two pronged approach
1. Massive reorganization of the HackMD – HackMD isn’t very well organized and important fundamental information in the form of summary articles are buried and out of date, rewrites and retagging necessary, update wiki as well if possible
1. Getting lore in-game: greater implementation of faction equipment, ruins, ships, etc. creation of in-universe fluff documents that can be put on ships or linked for reference when joining specific faction ships, backgrounds and ship descriptions are a step in this direction
## Finalize cultural diasIpora of SolGov – Polynesian influence, etc.
More cultural influences to get away from the generic Earth Federation. The Swiss can still be founders for Solgov, but it'd incorporate and absorb the other survivors - it wouldn't just be the Swiss.
Integrationist.
Swiss, Polynesian, other islands?
Consider the difference in timeframe between present day in-universe and the Night of Fire.
## Elaborate on SolGov-Nanotrasen relationship
Have the Frontier be in close proximity to SolGov space.
NT by virtue of its intense RnD and access to contracts has taken over capacity to control contact between Sol and the wider galaxy?
Turns to Solgov in the aftermath of the war, leveraging contracts to get Solgov involved in NT's issues.
Resource scarcity on Solgov's part? They will have to eventually expand in order to protect themselves. NT promises resources? This also helps explain some of Sol's presence in the Frontier - they're not happy with this arrangement and want to expand on their own terms.
They have leverage over each other, but NT has the advantage in the current relationship.
## Elaborate on general galactic community-Nanotrasen relationship – ramifications of the ICW
Lots of residual distrust towards both NT and Syndicate. The collapse of NT's production chains and infrastructure causes problems for their clients. Syndicate terrorism is fresh in people's minds in places where NT holdings were attacked.
Hostility due to NT's influence over CMM and Solgov?
## Why is SolGov in the Frontier?
## MAKE A FUCKING MAP OF THE GALAXY GODMOTHERFUCKING DAMN
## Finish the galactic timeline
## Also a map of Earth for funsies (low priority)
## Flesh out underutilized factions – consult larger group about this
## Get GAS in here – progress on sprites, lore, how do they fit into the galactic community?
## Getting lore out to the players
Massive reorganization of the HackMD
1. Go over all our summary documents and make sure it's up to date
2. Make sure the HackMD is easily searchable for content
3. Eventually the wiki should be the main source for player information
4. Make sure the lore is useful for the players! Easily digestible and relevant
5. 3 kinds of tags - First Draft/WIP, Awaiting Approval, Finalised
6. Formatting restrictions? Tagged appropriately, easily consumed
Actionable: All documents on the HackMD must be tagged: First Draft/WIP, Awaiting Approval, Finalised
1. NT
2. Solgov
3. Syndie Hardliners: SUNS, ACLF, some Gorlex
4. Syndicate Moderates: GEC, Cybersun, Donk! Co., some Gorlex
5. Inteq
6. CMM
7. Independents
Lore blurbs in-game
Character creator with backgrounds, culture. Short blurb that gives you a basic premise of teach.
Beginner-friendly factions
Enough lore to be enticing, but not so much as to overwhelm them. Minimalist approach.
Ways to make the background you pick matter more - if it only lets you join particular ships.
