## Hunter's Pride Arms and Ammunition
Founded under the Saint-Roumain religious umbrella, Hunter's Pride is an extension of the church's belief in robust equipment and reliable, old-school design, serving the needs of SRM members and independent vessels alike.
---
**Hunter's Pride**: An SRM-aligned manufacturer, Hunter's Pride produces high-quality replicas of old-Earth firearms, utilizing ancient ballistic techniques to great effectiveness on the Frontier.
**General Details**: While most of the Hunter's Pride employee-base consists of Saint-Roumain Militia Shadows or retired higher-ups, religious affiliation is not a requirement for membership. The austure "corporate" culture often disaudes newbies after a few weeks.
**Structure**: While somewhat of an autonomous entity, Hunter's Pride answers directly to the council of Huntsmen who operate the Saint-Roumain Militia. Hunter's Pride is therefore structured quite similiarly to the standard SRM company system, with Masters and Hunter Montagnes overseeing and working alongside the Hunters and Shadows. A notable difference in structure from other manufacturers is a lack of a "middle management" position: though they perform leadership duties, Masters and Hunter Montagnes also assemble and design munitions and firearms, often utilizing specialist knowledge from years of training in the field.
**Ideology**: "A Hunter is better than his equipment, than the sum of his parts. However, to act truly in His name, to fight and survive as the Ashen Huntsman bids, access to weapons robust and clear are the right of those who must fight to survive, from within our order and without."
**Operations**: Hunter's Pride has dozens of small-scale workshops both in orbit and on planets in independent colonies, with attention paid to proximity for those in need of their equipment. Hunter's Pride factories are rarely far from a place of sentient habitation, although there are exceptions for the far reaches of the Frontier where many independent salvage crews trawl. Hunter's Pride weapons are reliable, high-quality and at a bargain price, though usually lacking in modern advanced actions like automatic fire.
**Culture**: Working for Hunter's Pride as an outsider feels similarly to working in a Saint-Roumain church. Religious services are held during break times, food is usually freshly-caught or as near to it as possible, and most of the employees treat the quality of their work not only as a point of honor, but as a religious matter. Hunter's Pride offers a fair wage and reasonable benefits despite the low cost of their inventory, owing to their church support and the wide customer base they serve.
**Relations**
- Nanotrasen vessels very rarely if ever utilize Hunter's Pride weapons, given their emphasis on ballistics over energy weaponry.
- Syndicate vessels rarely stock and use Hunter's Pride weapons, usually preferring the modern amenities afforded them by Scarborough Arms. Every so often, a favored piece may be kept by a sentimental Syndicate captain or crewmember.
- SolGov vessels are usually loathe to make use of non-standard issue equipment, and therefore eschew Hunter's Pride weaponry.
- Thus, Hunter's Pride weapons find their greatest niche among independent crews, thankful for their high availability, low cost and reliability.
**Loredev-Only Notes**: Hunter's Pride weapons are universally "antique" firearms from Earth's history. Examples include the .38 revolver, the Winchester 2078 and the M1911. Possible additions to their arsenal would be hunting revolvers (scope optional), old-style elephant guns and possibly a greater selection of retro lever-actions and bolt-actions.
## Scarborough Arms
A formerly independent weapons manufacturer, Scarborough Arms threw its support behind the Syndicate when the Inter-Corporate Wars began to heat up. With a new influx of Donk and Cybersun funding alongside a wave of fresh GEC engineering talent, Scarborough Arms rode the tide of battle until the ICW screeched to a halt, drastically reducing their audience and forcing them back into the civilian market where their high-capacity, versatile weapons are now valued across the Frontier.
---
**Scarborough Arms**: Before the ICW, Scarborough was a burgeoning weapons manufacturer, churning out high-quality weapons in small amounts to mercenary crews and security contractors. During the ICW, they extensively supplied Syndicate soldiers with weapons of every make and model. After the ICW, they're back to selling to civvies with a dramatically smaller market.
**General Details**: Most of the employees of Scarborough Arms are former Syndicates, especially from the GEC and the ACLF. Wanting to get away from their past and in need of a stable income, Scarborough offered a legitimate public face and the ability to properly utilize their expertise.
**Structure**: Scarborough Arms is a fairly standard corporate structure, with very few bells and whistles. A CEO and board of directors manages managers, who manage teams of employees. Due to the high density of GEC membership, union representatives also hold a fair amount of sway.
**Ideology**: "Scarborough Arms! For the modern soldier-of-fortune, lawman or security contractor. If you want it to hold a lotta lead, spit it out with some quickness and look good while doing it, then choose Scarborough."
**Operations**: Scarborough experienced a dramatic expansion in capabilities due to Syndicate sponsorship in the form of funds and personnel. Therefore, Scarborough Arms has a much larger manufacturing capability than their general sales would imply. While budget cuts and mothballing of some larger facilities has taken place, most of the factories and warehouses Scarborough operates are still in use. In fact, most of the weapons sold by Scarborough currently are a mix of ICW surplus and recently-manufactured equipment, although regulations have reduced their sales of fully-automatic and higher-caliber equipment such as the L6 SAW.
**Culture**: Scarborough Arms still maintains many aesthetics of its Syndicate days, although that has steadily decreased over time, and has become a mix of an inside joke and an old shame. An ACLF pennant here, a framed picture of some Cybersun coworkers there, and the corporate stationary still reads *Death to Nanotrasen* if it's particularly old.
**Relations**
- Obviously, very few if any Nanotrasen vessels utilize Scarborough Arms weapons or even acknowledge their existence.
- As SolGov vessels utilize their own military equipment, they have little need for Scarborough firearms.
- Syndicate and ex-Syndicate vessels make up the largest portion of the Scarborough market share, usually snatching up their Makarovs and surplus EBRs.
- Independent vessels make periodic use of Scarborough weapons, particularly where the captain can afford their price tag. Even Inteq crews still use some leftovers from their Syndicate past, including Bulldog shotguns as breaching tools.
- Scarborough enjoys some popularity with frontier militias, including some elements of the Colonial Minutemen. While the CMM favors its own P16s for standard use, Scarborough guns can occasionally be seen as personal or specialty weapons.
**Loredev-Only Notes**: Scarborough guns typically have a "tactical" appearance, with black polymer and gunmetal predominating and a leaning towards squared, angular shapes. Accessory rails, sighting systems, and perforated heat shields are common visual elements. Many of their firearms also use a "bullpup" layout with the magazine attached behind the trigger group of the gun. Scarborough's civilian-market guns ease up on this slightly and tend not to feature rails and dark colors quite as frequently. Mechanically speaking, Scarborough ballistic guns are often slightly superior to their counterparts in terms of sustained fire potential or portability. Frequently-seen examples of Scarborough guns include the Stechkin, Bulldog, and C-20r.
## Solarbundswaffenkammer
The vast armories of the Most Serene Solar and Intersolar Republic, producing the myriad weapons key to Solgov's policy of armed neutrality. Ubiquitous in Solar space and on Solar ships, the weapons are a mix of caseless ballistic firearms and higher-grade hybrid "gauss" guns.
---
**Solarbundswaffenkammer**: Ever since the inception of the Solar Confederation, a care to enforce the neutrality and sovereignty of the government was required, and it is seen on the extremely high quality weaponry that the armory produces for its army. Many of its components are hand-made, such as its wooden stocks, munitions, as well as delicate pieces such as the coils and scopes.
**General Details**: Its name is merely utilized for branding, as the group itself isn't a bespoke figure but more so a collective of departments that produce the weaponry.
**Structure**: They are a state entity that is controlled by multiple, seemingly unrelated ministries, all in an effort to maintain complete autonomy from any possible corporate influence from competitors. Most of its employees are weapons manufacturers that originate from the Department of Specialized Solarian Engineering.
**Ideology**: "One does not enforce neutrality with only words. Others must know that they cannot threaten our sovereignty without consequences."
**Operations**: The solarbundswaffenkammer has many of its factories located in South America, in regions that were once Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and the Guyanas in the 21st Century. Warehouses with materiel are spread throughout the planet, and are generously stocked thanks to a well-funded military to aggressively enforce SolGov's neutrality when necessary. However, due to the lack of conflict SolGov has been engaged with, many of its higher caliber weapons are becoming increasingly rarer to see, such as their rocket launchers. The SIG, Model H, the GAR and the Claris are still often seen, used by Sonnensöldneren.
**Culture**: Solarian manufacturing values natural and human elements with its production. Synthetic materials such as plastic polymers are either extremely infrequent or simply prohibited, due to the scarcity of hydrocarbons on Earth, and its toxicity when created. Materials such as wood are staples to their aesthetics, as well as gunmetal.
**Relations**
- Weapons created by other factions are unneeded, or prohibited, as they only rely on their own manufacturing for defense.
**Loredev-Only Notes**: If you're going to create weapons for SolGov, remember that wood is one of its most important things to add. If you add polymers/plastic/anything synthetic for one of the weapons without my permission I will beat you with a stick. Feel free to add some wiring to the gauss weapons, so long as they don't have poor cable management. Solarians have an extreme care for aesthetics, so any gun you create for them should also look in extremely good condition.
## Sharplite Defense
Nanotrasen's laser weapons subsidiary, Sharplite churns out affordable, cost-effective laser weapons, ensuring that Sharplites can be found practically everywhere you look, be that gathering dust in a tramp freighter's closet or completing the flawless uniforms of Nanotrasen's finest captains.

## Eoehoma Firearms
A laser weapon company that does not exist anymore. A early pioneer of 'hybrid' Solarian and Kalixcian laser weapon designs, the company went under in 456 FS due to extremely delayed yet rushed products and increasingly extremly risky decisions.
Nanotrasen currently owns all patents for Eoehoma after Eoehoma's bankrupcy, however Sharplite does not produce Eoehoma designs, instead focusing on their own designs.
---
**Eoehoma Firearms**: Founded in 77 FS during the early years of Solarian-Kalixcian relations, Eoehoma, instead of using traditional plant-based batterys common in Kalixcian weaponry, they instead opted to use batterys used in Gauss weapons in their laser guns. While having significantly less battery than other weapons at the time, the easy to maintain and mass-producable batteries proved to be a hit, and quickly gained a reputation for Eoehoma that lasted until their later days. While no longer existing, their laser weapons are found througout the galaxy, many still in use due to their reliablity.
**General Details**: While they weres once known for quality laser weapons, the company ended up making lower and lower quality products leading to the infamous E-110, which has the . which while many point to as the nail in the coffin for Eoehoma, they still trucked on for years, although increasing competiton from Nanotrasen-Sharplite and various Kalixican plus the dropping prestige of the company forced them to declare bankrupcy after their CM-E-41A line.
**Ideology**: Eoehoma had a strict standard of quality products that would last a lifetime or two, at a affordale price. Needless to say, this standard faded later in their later years.
**Culture**: Designs are what a Solarian would call 'retro-futuristic', and are very curved, however this is dropped for their later designs.
**Loredev-Only Notes**: Retro future inspired. Cylidrical shaped. Old Sci Fi inspired designs, big lights, and should look very distinct from Sharplite laser guns.
