## General Thoughts Rations should be sealed boxes of various components, including mains, sides and accessories (utensils and condiment packets, for example). Ideally, a given unopened ration pack should be small enough to fit in a bag. These rations can be added to ships as a food supply, substituting or replacing entirely the longstanding mainstay of canned beans and donk-pockets (which are both monotonous and cause disgust for a fair number of popular species, i.e. Sarathi). Rations should have multiple components which appeal to different species' food preferences. Most likely, items could have their sprites simplified by creating a series of pouches and other containers that are simply opened with a small interior color change to indicate different meals.
