### TL;DR
We intend to use **only 12,500 USDC** of ~21000 USD for our initial compensation to avoid sell pressure of HAUS and RPL tokens. We will try to avoid sell pressure in general by raising in USDC or liquidating token compensation with care as last resort.
We decided amongst the pod that each person will focus on their client while pulling help from others in the time of need.

### Retroactive Compensation for :fire:_:gear: operators
We currently have a reserve of 12,500 USDC. The first distribution of funds will be for retroactive compensation between **profishional#7147** and **sergioarizav.eth#3536**. Given **ceresbzns#427** was not been able to stay with us we will allocate a smaller portion for the contribution he was able to make.
First USDC payment:
* Profish: 1,500
* Sergio: 1,500
* Cerez: 200 (~15% of the above)
* Total: $3,200
* Remaining: $9,300
We will create the transaction for our retroactive compensation on June 29th.
### Projected Compensation
The 9,300 USDC in our treasury will be used for compensation allocated to the performance of our general WF work and specific work with our clients.
**General tasks within WF include but are not limited to:**
* Having ongoing presence in the group and contributing **to our conversations.
* Finding a new members when needed.
* Creating, signing or executing transactions through our Orca Pod or Gnosis Safe.
* Managing Pod meeting schedule.
* Updating our Dework Space.
* Business development activities:
* Outreach to additional prospects.
* Meet with prospects.
* Work with FE to create work proposals for prospects.
* Etc.
**The client work include but is not limited to:**
* Create documentation on the current status of the project.

* Create a work plan using the documentation as a basis.
* Create an initial post in the client's forum (Hello World).
* Make ongoing reviews of governance proposals and forum posts: read, interact, comment and vote.
* When necessary ensure the execution of the proposed work plan through whatever means agreed upon: consulting work, implementation or project management.
* Create a grant proposal to raise more funds and give continuity to the partnership.
**Compensation schedule for upcoming payments from the current treasury:**
6,000 of the 9,300 USDC will be distributed between profishional#7147 and sergioarizav.eth#3536 as compensation.
The payment schedule will be bi-weekly and in the amount of $1000.
**The payment schedule will be as follows:**
**Payment 1 - July 15:**
* Sergio: USDC 1000
* Profish: USDC 1000
* New member: USDC 1300
**Payment 2 - July 30:**
* Sergio: USDC 1000
* Profish: USDC 1000
* New member: USDC 1000
**Payment 3 - August 15:**
* Sergio: USDC 1000
* Profish: USDC 1000
* New member: USDC 1000

If by mid-August we still do not have any new customers or we have not yet secured a new funding round with our current customers, we will propose to use HAUS and RPL to make compensation payments.
The cadence and amount of payments will remain the same until we have sustainable income to the treasury.
Our expectation is to reach that level of sustainability for the next funding round.
### Work logs
To ensure our work is transparent and compensated fairly we will be using dework to track tasks ([**:fire:_:gear: Infra dework dashboard**](https://app.dework.xyz/-76/main-space-38)), plus a manual work log to indicate the effort that went into completing those tasks. ### Operational costs
If an operator incurs operational expenses when signing any transaction, it will be reimbursed using the pod's treasury.
From the second funding round onwards, the budget will include operational costs so that operators do not have to deal with them.
### Future compensation
The current budget is not quite enough relative to the number of hours. We would like to **aim for $1k a week assuming 10-15 hours a week**. To achieve this we need to 1️⃣ raise more money from existing clients with the support of 🔥_🔥 and 2️⃣ bringing in more clients.
In the case of bringing in more clients, we think there should be a finders fee (~20% upfront) and more compensation to the client lead - credits to PG-Pod for inspiration. We will complete the details of this plan at a more relevant time in future.

Always leave 10-20% of the grant in the pod for investing or wide WF DAO support.
