## NSHE Co-Requisite Policy
* Passed by the Board of Regents in June 2019
* Starts Fall 2021
* No NSHE institution can offer any remedial courses unless they are offered concurrently with a college level class as a co-requisite course.
---
## NSHE Task Force on Performance Pay Administration and Support
* Charged with reviewing and identifying potential funding sources for faculty pay raises.
* The task force may recommend seeking additional money from the Legislature to fund performance pay, or looking for the money in existing budgets, which might mean cutting elsewhere or raising student fees.
* The legislators and the rep from the Governor's Budget Office opted out of the task force. :(
---
## Budget Items
* Any items that weren't discussed today...
---
## Starfish Flags (Scorpion Success Network)
* Why would we raise a flag?
* How do we raise a flag?
---
## WICHE Passport
* A network of colleges providing students seamless general education transfer
* Students can earn [a passport](https://interstatepassport.wiche.edu/) that will fulfill the general education requirement at participating schools.
* Gregory is exploring the option of how NSC can participate.
---
## Academic Policies
* As part of the Clery report (campus safety report) we had two policies that went live today:
- Sexual Assault Policy
- Substance Abuse Policy
* These policies have bypassed Faculty Senate because they were due today, but they will require revision, especially as we get on-campus housing.
## Standards of Academe
* I am on the Standards of Academe Task force (which seems to have become a full Promotion and Tenure Task force.)
---
## Slack
* Some committees will choose to use Slack. Others won't. We only care about being effective.
---
## Committee Time
* Pick one of your committees to meet with for the next ____ minutes.
* Assess where each committee stands and what your current action items are.
* Each committee will give a ~2 minute report of where they stand.
