Travelling
----------------

First and foremost: there aren't many means of transportation to go there.

There is a bus from the airport to Serre, it takes about 2 hours and I think there are at least 2 of them per day.

The plan

Basically you're free to do whatever you want with whomever you want, but given the travel constraints of some people I'm dropping here some basic scheduling.

- Afteroon (15.30) : Reggia di Caserta (Royal Palace of the Bourbons). Guided tour of the appartments, and gardens.

- Night in Naples.

----

This is what I can offer:

- **House:** free accomodation FOR SIX people is provided in the village of [Serre](https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serre_(Italia)), land of lost souls and .... not much else, really. The deal is that we use the house of my grandparents as a base, and move around. We don't have to hang out together all the time, you can stay home as long as you want (i.e. in case you need to work or do stuff).
- **House** my understanding is that we are filling the 6 places throughout all the holidays: i.e. marta and giorgio will switch. This means that to move around we are going to need 2 cars!

- **Internet**: We should have internet there, we opened a contract with Vodafone ADSL. Let's hope this is going to work. I am somehow skeptical as south italy is still south italy. In any case, there is a bar with open wifi that allows people to work there.
- **House:** short-term accomodation options in [Napoli](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoli), at Orion's place FOR 4 PEOPLE!
- **Equipment**: basic beach equipment [does this mean we are supposed to bring it, or that it's already there?]
- **Transport:** we will be able to move around with the help of 2 Fiat 500, a top-notch product of Italian engeneering. It is likely that duirng the holiday we will be renting another vehicle. The price for 10 days of a 5 places Fiat 500 is aroun 450 euros. (please note that i will likely not be having a driving license). We should also take into account the price for insurances and kasco stuff, as theifs are common in this area of Italy. If Filippo comes, he will be with his car. He's happy to use it to move around, except getting too close to Naples.

Cars
------
* A legendary FIAT Panda has been rented for 13/08 (7.30pm) - 22/08 (7.30pm) from Alamo (Naples Airport). * Fully insured, with five seats, we just have to add another driver to support Alessandro's drinking habits
* Francesco is looking to rent the second car
