- How can we know which projects support the spec?
- Projects can “Endorse” the spec.
- This does not mean that you implement, or can implement, but that you agree with the idea.
- There are a few “core” projects.
- Where can projects support the specs ?
- https://discuss.scientific-python.org/ .
- Should we have versions:
- Those are not really proposal, but coordination , live documents.
- There was a summit earlier this year, a lot of things were done in person, we need to link to the discussions.
SPEC 5 is missing discussion
- How are spec number assigned:
- Same as Pep - you make a spec <unnumbered>, and one member of the spec committee will give you the number.
- A little bit complicated, but you should be able to create specs in https://discuss.scientific-python.org/c/specs/ideas/9 (Spec>Ideas), but not (Spec>Accepted).
- Update [this](https://discuss.scientific-python.org/t/about-the-ideas-category/22) post to have more informations.
- Better discoverability of the SPECs process.
- Add information on What is the mission of the Specs in the main specs website.
- New spec: Numpy style guide
-Vs matplotlib and a few other that makes a few things differently
