<!-- This page is to input evidence on equitable allocation of vaccines. It is referenced from the handbook -->
:::spoiler Relevant sections of the handbook (delete this after page complete)
Many groups (race minorities, immigrants, homeless, incarcerated populations, people with disabilities etc.) traditionally face objective or perceived obstacles, like price of vaccine, lack of access to medical care, location of vaccination, unpaid leave to get vaccinated, discrimination etc. that lead to community mistrust [REF: APA - Building Community Trust].
=> These obstacles have to be overcome through careful and fair organization of the vaccine allocation, as these groups have already suffered disproportionately from COVID-19. [NASEM Framework - no DOI - Link to wiki: Equitable allocation of COVID-19 vaccine]
