# Flock 2026 submission: Science/Technology in the Fedora The science/research and technology communities rely heavily on and contribute to Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) to make scientific artefacts---code, data, publications---Open (accessible by all) and Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). The Fedora community, in its capacity as promoting FOSS, includes a number of teams and Special Interest Groups that support science (SciTech/AI&ML/NeuroFedora/Robotics/Hyperscale SIG)/...). In this talk, we will provide consolidated summary of science and tech related happenings in Fedora, with the aim of stimulating a discussion on how we can better integrate with science/research and technology communities.
