# My vision for Flypeople

## The Problem with Flypeople

Flypeople as it currently stands is a reference to a horror film and is only seen in-game from teleporter incidents, with nothing more to them. They are entirely limited based on the movie they are from, and the unique things that they do get don't even work properly (Flypeople vomit on roundstart/when turning into a Fly, and reportedly causes Runtimes too.)

## The problem I have with Flypeople

Flypeople are an entire unique race, and while Mothmen are roundstart, with full customization options to go with it, Flypeople are left in the dark, all looking alike, despite how unique they are (like how they eat).

### Changes I want to see

- [x] Flypeople pronounce 's' as 'z'
- [x] Flypeople like trash food
- [ ] Flypeople cant get fat, they are always hungry and out for food.
- [ ] With what was said in the 2 above points, Flypeople also shouldn't get negatively affected by Miasma
- [ ] Flypeople getting wings from Flight potion
- [ ] Flypeople caused from teleporter accidents keep their mutant parts (explained in-depth below)
- [ ] Fix Flyperson language (Buzzwords, commonly spoken by all insects with beatings of the wings, yet Moths dont have it and Spiders do?)
- [ ] Flyperson customization: Antennae, Skin color, eye color

### Flyperson customization

**Antennae.**
Flypeople have antennaes. This isnt new, TG already mentions this with their noogies, as Flypeople/Mothmen get increased damage due to their antennaes. I want to see this fleshed out as its own customization option, like Moths do currently. I don't find it fair that our Flyboys dont have a visible antennae on their head while Moths have an entire list of possible ones to show off.

**Skins.**
Flies have all types of skins, the Common Fly is green, Horse Flies are black, Yellow flies are yellow, ect. This should be reflected more in game, rather than all looking like a zoomed out, 180p quality version of the Common Fly.

**Eye color.**
I just thought this would be a cool unique thing for Flypeople, many flies have different types of colors, and staring into their cold dead eyes would be more fun if they had different colors for them.

### Other notes

**Wings.**
Flypeople are teleporter accidents, and are not real Flies. Their wings therefore are extremely underdevelopped and isn't even seen outside of getting a wing potion, when they finally manage to grow wings and fly like all the other winged races.

**[New] Language.**
Flypeople currently know the language of 'Buzzwords', which is made by the 'Beating of the Wings', and is a 'Common language for all insects'. Despite this, Mothmen dont know the language, yet Spiders do. To add more confusion onto this, this is implying that you magically forget any old language you knew before the teleporter accident, and magically learned an entirely new one. Ignoring the last sentence, I'd like to instead focus on the description of the language. I want to kick Spiders out, and put Moths in. I don't know what should be done about current Moffic language, but it doesnt make sense that Moths don't know the insect language made by the beating of their wings, when they debatably fit that description more than even Flypeople, not even mentioning about Spiders.

**Mutations.**
Flypeople are caused by teleporter incidents. Not everyone that are Flymen, were Human previously. Felinids, Lizards, Ethereals, ect, could have "accidents". This should be reflected in game, allowing them to keep their tails/digi feet/cat ears (maybe moth eyes?), as a reminder of what they were, and what they are now, thus proving that they're genetic freaks, and not 'just' the Moth's cousin. I dont want this as an actual customization option (If I ever do succeed at making Flypeople roundstart), but rather as a side-effect for xeno races becoming Fly.
