# Tanzu package constellation

**Steps:**
1. clone package-constellation repo
2. fork
3. add fork on cloned repo locally
4. create branch (follow doc https://gitlab.eng.vmware.com/tanzu/package-constellation/-/tree/main/ )
5. package-constellation ingest --package ../tkg-packages/core/kapp-controller/0.45.0/upstream-package.yaml --relocate-to kapp-controller-docker-local.artifactory.eng.vmware.com/kapp-controller-package-bundle/0.45.0
6. add code owner for the first time only
7. create MR

sgc: package-constellation ingest --package ../tkg-packages/core/secretgen-controller/0.14.2/upstream-package.yaml --relocate-to secretgen-controller-docker-local.artifactory.eng.vmware.com/secretgen-controller-package-bundle/0.14.2

**steps:**
1. git branch kc-0.44.6 upstream/main
2. git checkout kc-0.44.6
3. tanzu constellation package ingest --package ../kc-package.yaml --relocate-to kapp-controller-docker-local.artifactory.eng.vmware.com/kapp-controller-package-bundle/0.41.8

5. add package-metadata.yaml if not present in folder
6. git commit --all --signoff
7. git push origin kc-0.44.6

**sgc:** tanzu constellation package ingest --package ../sgc-package.yaml --relocate-to secretgen-controller-docker-local.artifactory.eng.vmware.com/secretgen-controller-package-bundle/0.11.6
